A quick, honest rundown of how we sell — condition, warranty, accessories, pricing, and payments. Please take a minute to read before you buy.

Inventory Condition

New, open-box, overstock, cancelled orders, customer returns, and scratch & dent

Our appliances come out of the retail supply chain, not out of homes: factory-new stock, open-box and display units, overstock, cancelled orders, customer returns, and scratch & dent. Customer returns are part of that mix — a returned unit may have been opened or briefly hooked up before it went back to the retailer. We are not a used-appliance dealer: we don't buy appliances secondhand out of households, and we don't recondition or rebuild anything we sell. We also do not receive prior history on individual units, so we never speculate about a piece's past — we disclose exactly what we know and what we can see.

Every appliance is priced to reflect that it's surplus stock — sold at a significant discount off MSRP. Cosmetic imperfections, missing accessories, or minor blemishes are always a possibility, so we encourage you to inspect the unit thoroughly in person before purchasing.

Full factory warranty included. Every appliance we sell carries the same manufacturer warranty it would if you'd bought it new from a big-box retailer.

Warranty & Installation

Professional installation protects your warranty

Manufacturer warranties on major appliances (ranges, wall ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators with water/ice, etc.) require the unit to be installed and connected to code by a qualified professional — typically a licensed plumber, electrician, or appliance installer.

Self-installs are strongly discouraged. If a service technician finds evidence of improper installation, mishandling, physical damage, or non-code hookups, the manufacturer will almost always void the warranty on the affected component. That's the manufacturer's call, not ours — we don't have any way to override it.

If something isn't working right on a properly installed unit, start a claim on our warranty page and we'll help route it to the manufacturer.

Accessories & Hookups

Hoses, cords, and connectors — plan ahead

If you're buying an appliance, you'll want to line up the correct accessories separately. We keep a limited stock of common items — dryer vent kits, washer fill hoses, ice-maker lines, range and dryer power cords — but we cannot guarantee we'll have the exact match for your setup on hand. Any brand of accessory that fits will work fine; nothing has to be from us.

Why ranges & dryers don't ship with cords

Electric ranges and electric dryers come from the factory without a power cord — this is standard across every brand and has been for decades. Homes wire these circuits with either a 3-prong (older NEMA 10-30 / 10-50) or a 4-prong (modern NEMA 14-30 / 14-50) receptacle, and the installer has to match the cord to whatever's in the wall. Shipping the wrong cord would be a safety and code issue, so manufacturers leave it to the installer. Gas ranges and gas dryers likewise ship without the gas connector kit.

Ask us before you leave — if we have the cord or hose you need in stock, we'll grab it for you. Otherwise any hardware store carries them.

Firm Pricing

Every price is our best price

Posted prices are already deeply discounted off MSRP. To keep it fair for every customer, all prices are firm — no additional markdowns, no volume or bundle discounts, and no negotiations. What's on the tag is what you pay at the Cash & Mobile Price (see card payments below).

All Sales Final

Inspect before you buy — report issues right away

All sales are final. Because our pricing already reflects surplus condition, we ask that you inspect the appliance carefully at the store or at delivery before accepting it.

If a professional installer discovers a functional defect after installation, report it to us right away and file a manufacturer warranty claim through our warranty page. The sooner it's documented, the smoother the manufacturer process goes.

Cash & Mobile Preferred

Posted prices are our cash & mobile rate

Our posted prices reflect our everyday low rate for cash and mobile payments Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, Apple Cash, or Chime.

We do not accept checks — personal, business, cashier's, or otherwise.

Thank you for understanding — it lets us keep prices fair and competitive for everyone who pays the preferred way.

Card Payments

Paying by card on our in-store POS

  • Credit and debit cards are always welcome — card purchases are rung up at the card price.
  • The card price is the posted price plus a 10% card overage, which offsets the bank processing, transfer, and administrative costs of card transactions.
  • In addition, every credit and debit card transaction carries a 3.5% card convenience charge — the payment-network and processing cost our bank passes through to us. It is itemized on your receipt and always quoted before we run the card.
  • Both the posted price and the card price are disclosed before the sale is completed, exactly as shown on our in-store stickers.
